Volunteers at Blessed Sacraments
Parent and student volunteers at Blessed Sacrament are a vital part of the school community -
every effort is appreciated and helps make the school a better place!
Programs, fundraising events, and other vital initiatives would not be possible without our volunteers!
Current volunteer positions that are available
There are many opportunities to volunteer, from the classroom to fundraisers to school activities.

We are currently looking for
- Athletic Calendar Coordinator
this volunteer would be the liason between parents and the teachers/administration to encourage student participation in athletic activities.
- Chess Club volunteers
these volunteers help set up or clean up equipment and help supervise the Chess Club kids during the lunch hour on Mondays for almost 70 students.
They also help drive students to various tournaments in the GTA.
- Kiss 'n Ride volunteers
these volunteers assist children during drop off in the morning!
- Library volunteers
these volunteers will help organize the library and perform duties such as:
- shelving all books
- reorganizing books within the library
- checking for accuracy of data in the library computer system
- Milk volunteers
these volunteers organize the milk and juices by classes which are then picked up by students for distribution to each classroom. Time commitment is once a week
- Parent Ambassadors
these volunteers make themselves available by phone or in person to answer questions from families who are considering registering their child at the school in the fall,
to help out at the Kindergarten Open House in the spring and to act as a support for new families joining the school in the fall.
- Religious Sacrament Coordinator
this volunteer would be the liason between parents and the teachers/administration to coordinate sacraments (grade 2 and 8) and related celebrations.
